Why do companies still rely on faxing?

Hello everyone, I’m trying to understand why faxing is still widely used by businesses when email and messaging tools exist. It feels like an old habit, but clearly there’s more to it. I’d love to read a solid explanation that breaks down the real reasons behind this.
